Girls being forced into sex trades are not only unbelievable but heart breaking. Lured by material things and/or the desire to be loved they are prey. Some are escaping turmoil, neglect and abuse while others just want to fit it somewhere and be big girls. Unfortunately, they are unprepared for the wolves that lie in wait for their bodies and soul.
Who is this wolf? Your next door neighbor, relative, acquaintance or the stranger you see that looks up to no good or gives you the creeps. Maybe he’s the handsome man or delightful couple that patiently lowers a child’s defenses with care and concern for them. Or, the empowering woman who catches a teen girl’s eye and her desire to emulate her. She takes her under her wings, gains her trust then ambushes her in a room full of men or maybe just one. Predators is who they are, chameleons that are good at blending into the sheepfold.
No child should ever have to have their mind, body and soul priced and sold for someone else’s pleasure and sick fantasies. A child taken is a child lost with no way to find their way home. A child taken is a child that will be broken with no way to fix itself. A child taken and not soon found will become lost in the world and then consumed by it. Just my thoughts.
