A life-limiting illness can be devastating. When Cherry Blossoms Bloom is intended to offer emotional support for those living with it. Among their greatest hurts is feeling of being left out by their family and friends instead of being loved and supported by them. Which may not be the case. When a person is diagnosed with a disease, their families can get so consumed with the diagnosis that they forget about the individual. At the beginning of each chapter is a skit to help people better understand and maybe relate in some small way to their loved one or friend.

When Cherry Blossoms Bloom – My overall impression is that this is a lovely book chock-full of easy-to-understand and helpful advice for those struggling with a terminal or life-limiting illness themselves and for the family members and friends surrounding them. As a reader, it really made me think. And it gave me a lot of actionable steps that I can take when I am in this situation someday—either as the caregiver or as the one suffering with illness.       blue2bliss

When Cherry Blossoms Bloom – There is a lot more useful information in the book. I’m very grateful to the author for taking the time to put this book together. I love that she has personal experience. It’s comforting to find someone who can relate to what you are going through and offer solid advice.
