A Year Of Greater Love For All
As I begin this New Year, I reflected back on 2012 and what I did and could do better going forward. To simply look back and say that I would like to do that year over again would be a waste because 2012 is gone never to return. If I said nothing, the year was perfect then I’ve lost sight of my future and will be forever stuck in the past. Everything I do in the future will be limited by my focus of what was. If I just let the year unfold, as it will, then I’ll forced to watch it spiral out of control as opportunities are missed because I chose to stand by and watch life move on without me.
As I looked back and thought about all I have accomplished, my blessing and failures, struggles and successes, I decided to give God even greater control of my life and direct my steps. I envision another level of my life opening up, that which I have never seen before or even imagined possible and I will need all the help I can get to navigate my way through it all. And of course LOVE being at the forefront of it all.
Whatever or whoever you choose to believe in, even if it’s yourself, (hopefully not) be prepared to whether what life has in store for you including the traps and pitfalls. If you’ve never encountered any traps or pitfalls, your most likely already in one and can’t see it (Not good!) You, your desires, determination, effort and words will frame 2013. Get a picture of it before you start building it! Guard your mouth and heart. Remember, you don’t get to do it over.
