Walking Away!

Far too often we allow others to take us for granted. We do it out of fear, love and even devotion. Our misery has become comforting because it’s better than being alone.

Take a look in the mirror; you are more than a door mat for someone to rest their feet on. You’re not the giver of all receiver of none.

Don’t let others take you for granted! Kindness isn’t a weakness and your humility isn’t a stepping stone for others to walk on.

Don’t be afraid to walk away from someone who doesn’t see the value in you. Walking away may help you find your way.

Good writeup Valarie. It’s strange how it feels so hard to walk away from things that we know are leading to our demise. Like keeping it around just to have “something.” Some even wait until something else comes to take it’s place, but I guess the best order is to walk away from the bad and then hope for better.
